How do I get help?

We encourage you to seek one-on-one help or find out about upcoming workshops by contacting HousingCounselor at (434) 985-6066.

How do I prepare for my appointment?

If Skyline can help you, an appointment will be scheduled to discuss your need more in-depth and fill out the necessary paperwork.  You can begin that process by downloading the necessary forms and completing as much of the application in advance as you can. Collect receipts, bank statements and other documents that will help you piece together your financial picture.

Who is eligible to receive services?

Housing counseling is provided without regard to income, race, religion, or national origin.  Unlike most of Skyline’s services, housing counseling is also available to anyone without regards to income.

What other resources do you have to help?

If you are ready to take charge of your finances, Skyline has tools to help you save money and create a spending plan.
