Head Start

Give Your Child a Head Start Toward Success

Skyline CAP’s Head Start program prepares children for kindergarten by nurturing their development in a safe, supportive learning environment. We focus on the whole child—cognitively, socially, emotionally, and physically—while also supporting the family’s path to self-sufficiency.

Our individualized approach meets each child’s unique needs and promotes growth in key areas, including:

We also offer additional services based on a comprehensive family needs assessment.

Who Can Apply?

We accept applications year-round from income-eligible families. Children must be three or four years old on or before September 30 of the enrollment year. Children with disabilities are encouraged to apply and may be eligible for services starting on their third birthday. We also consider factors that may place families at risk.
